Los días 15 y 16 de Agosto se llevó a cabo el torneo correspondiente a la tercera Etapa de ProAngler Tour 2009 en la presa Vicente Guerrero del vecino estado de Tamaulipas.

Como cada año, esta presa se ha vuelto el terror de los ProAnglers ya que es, sin dudarlo, la que representa el mayor reto debido a sus condiciones tan cambiantes en lo que a niveles de agua, viento e incluso la claridad del agua es un factor que hay que considerar.

Quién mejor que un local y experimentado pescador como César Madrigal y su compañero Manuel Lamadrid para lograr encontrar la dura combinación a este duro candado y conseguir el ansiado primer lugar y el cheque de los 50 mil pesos.

Además, no conformes con el primer lugar este equipo presento también la lobina más grande del torneo y se hicieron acreedores al Golón del día Domingo mientras que el del Sábado fué para el equipo de Dagoberto Luna y Luis R. González.

El segundo sitio de honor fue para los campeones del 2007, Pablo Leo y Paco Acosta mientras que el terceo se lo agenciarion Enrique Elizondo y Melchor Guerra.
